Another for "resubmittal" but I'm thnking that the photo may not have the quality.
We found this file over filtered from its original appearance/quality.
It was shot with my lesser quality dslr and even though it was shot in raw I wonder if perhaps the quality is just too poor.
upside down flat
ps thanks for kevinjay for introducing me to UBB mode so that my links now work!

It's too flat, lacking saturation and has CA. The cloudy sky doesn't help this shot at all.

Thanks. After playing around just a little I'll not be resubmitting this one .. unless I can figure out how to make the clouds quite grey which would be appropriate with the flag being upside down. BTW .. I think that was a joke (i.e. hmmm, maybe I'll try that next ..)

Yes it could use some building up on contrast and I also noticed the CA on the left edge of the flag (also a little artifacting in the trees) - but I wouldn't think this was over filtered, more likely just a result of the sensor & lens.. is this the D60 with the stock 18-55 lens? The camera is fine but I found some problems with artifacting in my early days with the D50 as well, especially without a good supply of light behind the camera.

The rejection was probably due to the thick border on the right outer side and the thinner one visible at the lower left edge.

Well spotted Diane .. it was easy to be fooled by other issues like CA & softness.
