Far too often music and sound elements are left as the final element in a project leaving little room for creative implementation.

When laying out any video or film project it is important to ensure that the audible elements of the production are considered throughout the entire process. In fact in most cases it can greatly help the creative editing process to start with the music before laying out your image sequences. Unless you have the budget to finance a completely custom music track it is usually best to source out your music before editing a track. That way you can match your visual edits to your music, composing a more convincing emotional piece.
