Adding Music Loops To Your iMovie Project

iMovie is an easy and intuitive tool for small video projects. Adding audio to these projects is really straightforward. We're going to show you how to use a royalty-free music loop to an iMovie project and a few of the benefits you'll find to your workflow.

Step One.

First you will need some looped music that will run seamlessly for the duration of your project. Find & download the perfect Royalty Free Music at iStockphoto.com by selecting the audio tab and then initiating a keyword search. To find loopable content use the term "loop" as one of your keywords.

Step Two.

Drag your iStock audio loop file from your downloads folder directly onto your iMovie project timeline.

Step Three.

To seamlessly loop the music to the end of your timeline simply drag multiple copies loop onto your iMovie timeline until the loop progresses throughout your entire project.

Step Four.

Finally, select the last audio clip in the timeline, open your audio inspector & fade-out the audio. You might also want to select the first audio clip in the timeline and fade in that audio.
